    tried that trick once. then i had to listen to the darn thing beach because miles were added and fuel was lost. for 8 days.

    Actually, I kinda like the Elog. Took some getting used to but it does save you some hours if the way they taught me to do it is the correct way to do it? Another thing, you don't have to waste time trying to figure out how many hours you have left on your 11, 14 and 70 hrs-its all calculated there on the screen for you. I can understand the O/Os not caring about it because Im sure its expensive. Saves you a lot of time though. As for it affecting your mileage, my mileage actually went up when I started using it because of the time savings. That's just my opinion but I try not to make opinions without some kind of facts to back them up. I didn't get the kind of miles when I was running QUALCOMM only that I got after I got elogs to go with that QUALCOMM. Time is money in this business, the more you save, the more you earn.

    Elogs do save time in a governed trk......Lets say you are on paper in a 65mph governed trk, yours hrs from point A to point B better not exceed 65mph when the math is done....
