Go with an interior windshield mount. I had a bumper mount style, mounted to the grill of my 379 with “anti-theft” bolts and it was stolen in NJ at the Petro in Bordentown. They used a pry bar and bent my grill and stole it. Luckily I noticed it when I came out from dinner and canceled it before they got to use it.

I was just checking at New York State's EZ Pass application.
They tell you that if you have a flat windshield or if you have any kind of a visor you cannot use an interior EZ Pass you must use an exterior E-ZPass.
I did not see that with any of the other state applications.
Is there something different about New York? I know that I have gone through there many times with interior E-ZPass but it was not my truck.
*** Having a New Jersey E-ZPass seems that the discounts are pretty minimal. The only discount on the turnpike Beyond any other state EZ Pass is maybe a few dollars on the whole length of it during off peak hours.
