Misconception, you cant do both in some instances, take into consideration of weight, most dry freight companies wont load you due to the higher weight of the reefer hence forth less of their freight on your back.... depends on the dry shipper they wont load you due to the air chute that's in the reefer, they don't want to damage it if their freight goes to the ceiling. so the answer is know your customers before you think that you can do both. But straight reefer in most cases always pays more.

 

Hey thanks MysticHZ 😀,I finally landed and in possession of a 2016 white kenworth t680,with I think the premium package?leather interior,swivel passenger seat,tv mount and pull out table...also fridge,apu,and 1800 watt inverter all preinstalled.NICE TRUCK.....

went over to eagle finally and was shocked frankly by two things.....1.how young everyone is there 20s and 30s,hehe I felt old.2.how crowded everyone is right now....but there building is being remodeled as we speak and they will be spread out and start doing orientation there sometime soon...oh should add,they did try hard to please me to the point I had to tell them to relax! Apparently a lot of truckers are mean,crusty,hard to please,and very independant,lol...who knew!! And really no actual procedures that I am used to..they are winging it and so will i.....gulp! Maybe get trailer and get a load this afternoon or Saturday morning....

 

I'm leaning towards new or one year old. Not interested in the cascadia. Someone told me the w900 does not come with an apu. Hope this is not true.
