Thanks Eddie. I'm not much of a speed demon anymore. That 75 is plenty fast enough to get a ticket in most areas

Same here bud, don't see a need to go over 65. Fuel saving should be priority #1 for us l/p drivers.

Let me reiterated that i am Not working for Eagle logistics. I'm Looking at possibly partnering with them. I'm actually a company driver for ACT TRUCKING out of Kansas city Mo. So far Eagle doesn't sound to bad.

From what im told ACT has a pretty decent L/P program. I have a friend over there and he says that he is doing very well!? Is that not true? that's why you are looking at eagle?

Oh forgot to mention when in there office they had posted for everyone to see the February operating numbers....and I can't remember all of them but I did see 1.9 million in revenue and profit of 109,000 just for the month....pretty healthy for a growing company and in a business not known for large profit margins....

I think drivers payroll was like 1.2-1.3 million of that operating capital....take it for what it's worth....:biggrin_25514:

I've been following this thread for a while. not because I'm leasing on with Eagle, but because I'm going to lease a truck from Quality. I'm going to Indy on Thursday, leasing on with Mercer. I'm just a little frustrated with Quality because I have called weekly only to be told the same thing regarding inventory. They are really pushing the used Prostars. I'm not interested in 2012 or 2013 Prostars. Too many issues with the Maxxforce engine. Don't really want a new truck payment, even though the warranty is pushing me into that direction. Hopefully there will be something used, other than Prostars, when I get there. I'm basically using the truck as a rental for the next six months to a year, to see if my numbers work. If they do, I'll buy a truck, if not I'll go back to my old job as a company driver.
Good luck at Eagle, hope it works out for everyone.

I know what you mean. Seems the biggest issue with Quality Leasing and their network of carriers is disorganization. It takes so many calls and emails to get things done, it gets really frustrating. One thing about the Prostars, keep in mind that alot of them have the Cummins ISX motor, not the maxxforce crap. But yeah, they are pushing prostars hard if you're looking for used, and Lonestars if you're looking for new. They have a lot in inventory and want desperately to get rid of them.
