Well I got through day one of orientation with no problems, videos were not hard, just had to listen to what is being said to pass the tests, only had to do a drug screen, no physical, no problem, so far all good. Look people, if we are going to do the Eagle lease, then let's do it, don't let a few negative posts chase you away, no one controls your destiny but you, how well you do at Eagle will depend on your hard work, and watching your money closely. No one said this would be easy, or that money was just going to fall out of the sky and into the truck, it's out there, go get it, it's okay to be warned about things, but don't let someone's negative post and subsequent business failing, be your destiny as well. There are great drivers here, continue on being great, you didn't come here to fail.:biggrin_25513:

Well said.. Hey, did you have issues with recruiting taking a really long time to setup your travel arrangements?? I like to ask all the new Eagle guys cause it seems that they wait till the absolute last minute to setup flights or bus trips.

Well then enlighten us? What in the contract that was so reprehensible? Others have stated the list of approved brokers is quite large, and all of the usual suspects are on it. You have to have good personal working relationships with brokers to get the good loads. You can't expect them to give you the cream of the crop loads the first time you work with them. You build relationships with brokers by taking decent loads, delivering them on time and working with them time and time again.

Some people will make it some will not. If you are looking for the "perfect" place, you will be searching until the end of time. I know guys that you could give them a new truck free and clear with a unlimited free fuel card and they couldn't make it. This world makes all types. Thanks for the input.

Nolove- I have no problem with what you wrote, just curious what you seen that was so bad.

I am on the fence as well, I would like to here what was so bad. Its hard to take someoned ctritism seriously when they won't even say what was so bad. The broker comment wasn't towards you either It was just a generalization.

That sounds great! More options are always good. I've heard they've been working on that board since last year though.

Do you have a trailer yet? She told me today I would probably have to run reefer or van for a couple of weeks...I'm not too keen on that. I think I'll wait until she has a flat reserved for me!!

    Loke Thanks this.
