It was a team run but their truck broke down and I may still lose it to a team, customer closes at 4 pm tomorrow, I won't get there until the next day, Christmas in MI, then I go home.

 

I'm glad things are working for you. What happened with your air leak issue.

 

Sitting here in Prescott AR at the T/A, my air leak was actually coming from the fuel purge system, whatever that is, and they got me on my way that night.

 

Nice I'm glad to hear it was something minor. I'll be starting my new adventure in Jan 4

 

Just be prepared for the wait on the trucks, if you go with a used one, you may want to check, but I did see some new T680's come in, but the Quality folks say they won't be ready until Jan. Now if your truck needs repairs, if you go used, and they are waiting on parts, you can run local for them, 250 mile radius, but when I was there they had a 40 guy waiting list, lucky for me my truck didn't take long.

 

I'm not going with quality. I actually signed on with a small company that runs new england out to miichigan and South to jersey

 

Good deal, I used to run that area when I was a younger driver, but man the tolls have gone up so much.

 

I'm in West Memphis AR doing a 34, then tomorrow glide on up to Gary IN. My load delivers on Mon. now so I got plenty of time, then I'm looking at a load that picks up in Sparta MI going to Chariton IA, from there I can deadhead to the house for New Years.
