Van an drivers are usually on the road pretty quickly. Well quickly meaning two weeks tops. I'm seeing people coming back with the issue of the cruise control and jake brake not working.

The flatbed process takes you to multiple locations plus employment virifications don't begin till you start orientation. The road test process is a slow roll also.

My my circumstances were a little extreme and not all of it was due to Eagle. ATS took 5 full days to confirm my employment all while trying to re-recruit me. I also held out for the tractor I wanted. Could have hopped in a LoneStar right away. Then more time for a headache rack. It's pretty much one half me screwing around and them still disorganized but it got done.

Finally got my truck, a good ole Lone Star, met my DM, who didn't give me a brokers list or even talk about using brokers, thinks I should stay out 2-3 weeks at a time, I just laughed, will get the list Monday, and he will work with me on how long I stay out that works for me. For right now, I will be in the La Quinta for the weekend, kicking back, and then head out Monday for home to get the rest of my stuff. The Lone Star is not what I wanted but it will do for what I want to do.

I have one. Once I'm under a load I'll post fuel mileage pen and paper. Keep in mind this tractor isn't broke in yet.
