Get your reefer, run MN to Tx with good rates swing by home during the trip both ways and live the good life, or run MN to CA stop home once a week and live the decent life. LOL

Why do they limit the idle? After all you guys are the one paying for fuel, that doesnt make any sense
L.B. Thanks this. -
The best used trucks that I saw, if you go that route, was over there at the Eagle office on W. Raymond St in Indy, but they are 12 miles away from orientation, this is also a Quality Truck sales office, don't know if the vans will take you there to look at what they have, if not you'll have to get a cab. I know you go there to sign your Eagle lease once you do get a truck, new or used.
-
Exactly!! That is what I said, every other lease company enable their trucks to idle, if the driver wants.
-
Because they know that 75% of leases will either end up failing or not buying their truck out at the end of the lease and trucks with no idle hours are going to have s better resale value than one with thousands upon thousands of hours.
-
Yeah that sounds like a plan to me.
-
Well hopefully I get my dang hard copy of my CDL soon. I'm going nuts waiting for it. And it all depends on what they have new and used when I get there. I don't mind used depending on mileage and overall condition.
-
I think the average wait I've waited for my hard copy before was exactly one week in Idaho, but I've heard some say 4 days and some say 2 weeks!
-
My scan gauge is showing 350 horses max, so I'm guessing they have em set at about 400hp. I'm having mine turned to the max but keeping the speed the same as soon as I get some time to drop by a Cummins shop.
-
The new motors haven't been broke in yet. Fuel mileage will suck till around 25,000 to 30,000 miles. Mine only had 256 miles on it. Gonna be awhile.
