No kidding, I used to haul IBC totes of the concentrated monster drink into a place in St. Cloud.

Cold Springs MN, land of the Monster drinks, went to Coke in NC with one load, reloaded in Mooresville NC, for Cold Springs MN, then reloaded in the same dock with another Monster load going to Coke in Springfield IL, now going to Indy to get the truck tweaked, then my D.M is working on a Houston load, from there to LA, then shoot back to NE for home time.

 

Yes. Can't remember how much. Might need a year in the last three or some such.

 

I know a lot of granite comes from cold springs. Matter of fact it was the company ATS started hauling for back in the 50's. I think they bought them out too.

 

fr8 ... something isn't kosher ... that lane averages $2755. The low is $2585 ... you should be getting over at least $1.9 and $2K would not be unreasonable and the Intelliroute miles for that lane are 1306 ... You've subscribed to a load board. What does it say the rate is for that lane?

 

It wasn't negotiable....take it or leave it and its better than what I've been getting I did say the miles were 1310....a lot of and I mean a lot of brokers quotes and even offers aren't what they should be.....for what ever lane...sometimes they get close....hardly ever are at what truckersedge says it should be....what am I to do? Not take it coz the rates not what it's been for the last 90 days?

Darn it didn't copy it......it said 1.83 for St. Cloud mn to Columbia sc market.....

 

That's the line haul rate ... there should be a $.29/.30 FSC adjustment to the rate. Spot market doesn't have a FSC per se, but the rate will fluctuate with the fuel price.
