Not sure, my D.M wasn't too happy about it though, that is when I found this load going to NV.

 

Yeah, the load weight was 11k, will be good on fuel mileage. I am beginning to realize that it is a real challenge for both D.M and driver to keep the truck making enough money to pay truck bills and bills at home. I have a trucking buddy that lives in Vegas, and when he was driving, he always had to go into Cali for a load to the midwest, he said Vegas is like Florida, a lot going in, little coming out.

 

yea my dad has same problem when he comes home. A lot of good paying freight in. Just hard to leave FL for a good rate.

 

Yeah you usually have to go into GA. or AL to get a load when you drop in FL, still would like to go back there though.

You managed to get layover pay?

 

Still many payroll errors,like they didn't add a fuel surcharge on my last trip but honestly it might be because I scanned the paper work just after midnight after the cutoff time....so at least that trip is on there....and there is a hold over trip from weeks ago,finally got the system to accept it,but it would have worked out the same for the other week it was missing originally.....

 

Yes I started on the Friday afternoon of easter weekend....no loads to be found and only load waiting was in celadons yard but couldn't pick it up until the following Monday del Wednesday...missing the Tuesday cutoff for payroll...guess they felt sorry for me,lol

 

1653.50 was to my pocket....hard to read there statements plus I had to play around with it to get it to copy....only thing missing my truck number and name,obviously

 

Bur want that for two weeks work?
