you have to stay in the north east and run at least 4 loads per week to make it here as usual NYC pays the best people I went to orientation with most already threw in the towel heading to Landstar gotta stick it out here for another 9 months before I can rejoin with the blue star:D

My son signed up with them and wishes he never would of heard of them. He was awe struck with the new truck. He didn't even consider the 7 year lease problem. $1200 a week payment for the truck and trailer. With a $20K balloon payment at the end of the 7 years. They gave him a couple papers with the list of their brokers and he finds his own loads or gets really cheap loads from their dispatchers. Right now he hasn't had a pay check in over 3 weeks. It's a new company with Celadon and I think they use this company as a write off. Personal advice...run the other way screamin' like a little girl!

ThunderstruckJS, the lease terms are 5 years (60 months).
The new truck payments are $660 week and the trailer payments are $160
    2016 International ProStar $57,500 Residual
    2016 Freightliner Cascadia $60,000 Residual
    2016 Kenworth T680 $60,000 Residual
    2016 Kenworth W900 $65,000 Residual
    2016 Peterbilt 579 $65,000 Residual
    2016 International LoneStar $65,000 Residual
Not sure where you got $1200 a week, 7 years and $20K.
Yes you have to find your own loads. If he can't do that he might want to go back to being a company driver.
Him not having a check in over 3 weeks isn't anybody's fault but his own. He can choose his own freight and negotiate price. No reason at all for him not having a check.

    trucker43 and Tdgraham Thank this.

I'm not very sure either. He told us $1200 was his weekly payment for the truck(LoneStar) and the trailer put together. Also that he has to pay $20K as his residual. I think this is bogus, but we weren't sure. Thank you for the info. How do you know so much about this, if I may ask?
