Where did you come up with a $1200 a week payment. From the email I received it was only $610 a week and $170 for the trailer .

 

I have no idea if Eagle is good or bad as a company, I've read enough things about them that I wouldn't be comfortable going there but your complaint is that you didn't make enough and you sat too long waiting for a load at a company where you find your own freight. That makes no sense.

 

Insurance,maintenance account,qualcom,and a basket load of other fees.

 

A lease is just a bad idea,unless you are established,and can get regular runs,from shippers that like your work,and trust you.Talking to previous fleece owners,and doing investigative work is key.
I just dont get the love of the loan star

 

at least you got to haul reefer loads I was promised a reefer trailer by my recruiter when I got to orientation there was a one year waiting list thats why you see so many eagle drivers pulling celadon trailers and the turn around rate is astronomical and yes you will wait days for loads if you solely rely on your driver manager. several people that I went to orientation with on June 15th already quit this company is not ready for prime time I left a good paying union job home every night for this now I'm sorry I did

 

the lease isn't the issue if you're with companies that have the freight I highly recommend Landstar or Schneider now that they have setup a load board and pay percentage

 

Broker your own loads,cut out the middle man.grab loads that pay well on short notice..make some new contacts!
Your a business owner...its all up to you!

 

Id pzll a flatbed...it pays well..,and looks cool.

 

In eagles orientation now , doesn't seem as bad as some has made it out to be , I pull flatbed and have done so for 13 years , yes they say that trucks are not ready at this moment and we have to wait 4 to 6 days..

 

What trucks will be available to you guys?
