I've got a 2016 Peterbilt 389 since December the truck has been down first time to dealership they told me EAS harness was bad replaced EAS harness solve the issue for 3 days then same issue reoccurred red light on def gauge 5mph derate took back to dealer dealer said EAS computer was bad replaced EAS computer same issue has anybody else ran into this and what is the cause I can't keep throwing money at this truck because the dealership just throws parts at it and since July I'm out $38,000 for unnecessary parts and repairs that never corrected the issue. Any info would be great thanks

It is hard to find anyone who knows how to troubleshoot a problem nowadays.
I would check your grounds by the way.
One thing I do is when a dealer or mechanic says they need to replace a harness, I tell them or the driver does, they want the old one back and not cut up. This way we can tell if there is a real problem with the harness or something else. -
You’re right about the dealers. Most dealers are nothing but a ripoff, new mechanics follow the book and don’t have brain on their own, and service advisors don’t go out of their way to help a returning customer. -

You need to find a new more capable shop with knowledgeable trained guys.
Coming on here bashing mechanics on your second post is not helping your cause.
There is not enough information in anything you posted to even come close to be able to assist you in sorting the problems with your truck. -
