Easiest state to get a CDL

    If that were true I would not have a CDL. California demands a lot but that isn’t one of the demands.

    There are some decent companies out there that will pay for your CDL and even provide a motel and food while you are there learning. In exchange for that, you agree to work for them for a certain amount of time (the common length seems to be about a year for most of them from what I have seen).

    Most of these companies pay weekly. So once you pass your tests and start driving, you'll see some income pretty quick.

    Trying to steer clear of swift, but they pay for training and are 3 blocks away, should I go with them or go to a school like southwest?

    What’s so bad about swift? The reviews? If you work hard, and prove yourself you can earn a living there. Plenty of guys do

    New Hampshire may be the worst. Drivers told me how they had to do 2 figure eights in reverse. Trailers are aligned for going forward, in reverse they will wander.
