Eastern Freightways-Hometime

Eastern used to try and get their solo drivers home each weekend for at least a 34 hour reset. Lately many drivers are getting stuck away from home on the weekends due to the poor economy.

As for pay I believe they offer between .38 and .40 cpm for drivers with at least a year of experience.

The equipment has much to be desired for the new hires though. The company still has some old Freightliner and Volvos (small bunk flat roofs)with close to a million miles on them being used that they assign to the new recruits. The website is a bit dated and is not 100% accurate.
