    heat treating on the originally installed gears.....not on the replacement over the counter gears.....the 20 has halo iirc and the 22 different spline input

    If the alloys were different enough to make a difference I would think there might be a difference in weight.

    I have a feeling that they simply put the higher rated clutch in it and charge more for the warranty overhead.

    I don't think there is a difference, we just pay for a stronger clutch and warranty!
