Finished my load up got back to the yard and parked and noticed she was leaking. Any ideas before I start tearing stuff apart? Also been having issues for the last week with the synchro from high range to low “while moving” the truck will grind if you want to shift down from 6th (high range) to 5th (low range) when approaching a light etc.. so I’ve been avoiding it and just stopping in 6th and restarting from a stand still.

If you don't know what you're doing, you really need a professional.

The Fuller FRO's have to be removed to replace the synchronizer due to the range shift actuator being on the top plate.

    Wumbo Jumbo Thanks this.

Yeah I’ve never done any tranny work personally myself on a semi. That gives me motive to just replace it then since they have to remove it anyway to replace a synchro. Thanks for the heads up

That looks like it’s just an output shaft seal.

I would think so, never done one so I can’t really say.
