I'll think the problem you'll find is if you can find an employer in the US to sponsor you in, most all insurance companies require a minimum of two years driving experience, in order for you to be able to drive for them.

The larger companies that self insure couldn't be bothered with the hassle to go through the immigration aspect of it.

If my insurance company would touch it, I'd jump at the chance to have a driver onboard for three years

The agency dealing with me at the moment also described the whole process. One of the requirements is 2 year verified truck-trailer experience which I can provide.

Double check with any prospective employer, but I’d say they’d need two years of verifiable US based driving experience. It’s all around the US insurance laws.
