I looked at the cost of some of these windows tablets....wow.
I used to run Eclipse in Parallels or VirtualBox on my MAC but worried this might be clumsy or cause a possible issue
if/when the DOT needed to look at it. To me, its too many variables to run one simple program.
Although it did work just fine.

However, after a major run-in with the Louisiana DOT....I decided to simplify my life
and also dedicate a device just to logs and nothing else. Nothing personal or anything is on my netbook but Eclipse.
I managed to get out from the DOT without even a warning but thats another thread in this forum...another cop with a major attitude, especially when he couldn't find anything wrong with me or my rig.

    :biggrin_2556:

My kid offered me her Netbook and while I got it rebuilt and working, Windows7 is just too much for this little thing.
It works but not as nice/smooth as XP would be.

I still have the macbook but run Mountain Lion on it and no longer run any version of Parallel/VirtualBox.

I wont hold out for Eclipse to ever release an OSX version as I suspect the client base simply wouldn't justify
the engineering expense. I likely will continue to run it on the Netbook until they release an Android version or until this
    network just up and dies.

You are correct about OSX. Especially since in runs in Parallels on Macs.
