Does anybody know of a place that rebuilds ECM's for an MBE4000 mercedes? I've found all kinds of places that will tune them for performance but haven't found anybody that rebuilds them to factory specs.

try freightliner since you want factory specs
-
oh but be warned they will program all the new epa crap back in and will lose fuel mileage
-
The fuel mileage has sucked ever since I got the truck and the current ecm has never been upgraded. I have changed all the sensors but the timing does not adavance with the rpm so the only thing left to change is the ECM.
-
I have always heard the mbe were great on m.p.g. but you had to drop 5 gears on any grade.
-
what kind of damage? I used to fix Temic PLD units
-
do u have EGR unit ore pre EGR?
-
It is an EGR motor. There's no physical damage to the ECM, it just doesn't advance the engine timing like it should. I've changed all the sensors hoping one of them was causing the issue but nothing changed so I think it has to be the ECM.
