Let me see if I can clear this up a bit for you Dice, and I can see where it could be confusing. Your FASS takes the air out of the fuel going to the injection rail. Our unit is installed inline after the fuel filter going to the injection rail. Our unit has no way to remove air or to add air to the fuel at this point. So to answer one of your questions, we do not have any effect on your FASS. Now with all the Emissions test that we did wilth Gasoline and Diesel engines, the Test results always showed a reduction after the ECO unit was installed in Hydrocarbons, Carbon Monoxide, NOx and Particulate and the test results showed an increase in A/F (air fuel ratio) which the technicians told us that by increasing the air/fuel ratio you are burning less fuel and more air. This means that you are burning more of the fuel creating more heat which transfers to power and reducing the emissions you are emitting thru your exhaust. Emissions is unburnt fuel.
The increase in air is in the combustion chamber and NOT air that we would add. As I said before there is no way for our unit to add or delete air to the fuel. By increasing it's volatility we do increase the A/F ratio in the combustion chamber. This is where you feel the cris[er throttle response and less downshifting. I hope this helps.josh.c and AfterShock Thank this. -
Adding air to the fuel before the injectors will do more harm than good. Proper air fuel mixture or atomazation of the fuel can only happen in the combustion chamber. That is why oem's are going to higher injection pressures. You want to remove air from the fuel not add it. That is why the fass system has a good reputation, it removes the air from the fuel thus letting the injector give a well defined mist of spray into the combustion chamber. When the cylinder is drawn down on the intake stroke it pulls that mist of fuel down along with air from the intake.
If the injector is fed air with the fuel you will get to much air in the cylinder. This will result in decreased performance and fuel economy will suffer. Injector life will also be decreased.
I do not see where the turbo 3000 or the ecotaz can add air to the fuel. I also do not see where either product can enhance the fuel in any fashion as to make it more volital in the combustion chamber.ECOTAZ Thanks this. -
You are correct on your explanation. As far as not seeing the Turbo working I cannot speak for that since I don't represent that product. As for ECO-Systems I can say that FASS takes the air out and our product only enhances the Diesel before the injectors so that the injectors are able to make a finer spray from fuel treated with ECO's than fuel that is untreated. The finer mist mixes better with the air from the air intake. If you introduce better fuel into any engine it will perform better and give you better mpg's. Many Engineers and scientist disagree with the science but we were able to get a grant thru the state of Texas to do testing because several engineers and professors of automotive engineering believed our product had merit. Their decisions came frome seeing the hundreds of test results that we had on emissions testing with the ECO-Systems and some testing we did at the Houston ship channel. If ECO-Systems did not work we could not have changed the results of the HC's, CO's, NOx, Particulates and A/F ratio.Last edited: Jan 7, 2012

Hoping to test in February if I recieve equipment to install in time. Using January as the base numbers to compare. Currently at 8.98 mpg average for January testing MicroBlue Transmission.
Will post pictures of install and as noted before all my odometer, fuel purchases, weights, speed, etc. are on mygauges.com under "Dice.sTruck2012", "Dice.s Truck" & "Dice.sTruck2010" that also has listed modifications made to truck and dates installed since January 2011. -
That is great! Now your truck will still have all the equipment on it that you were running in the month of January? We want to compare exactly the same and only the ECO-System is the difference.

I havn't noticed any diffrence. No hp increase, no smoother idle and no fuel milage increase. The first couple of weeks I was really optimistic because my mpg were up 6/10ths but I was running really light loads. like under 20000 on the flat. When I got back to my regular loads the mpg went back to my average. 6.31. Yes I know its winter but I stay on I-10 between Houston and Mobile 90% of the time so we haven't had much cold weather. I put mine on during Thanksgiving. I also have a couple of running partners and they were not aware that I had put it on. We run 64-67mph loaded(normally 74000 to 79000lbs)57mph across louisiana and 70 -72mph when empty.
Dice1 Thanks this. -
The winter fuel Blends are in use along I-10 during the winter months even if we do not have cold weather. All the O/O's we work with and the fleets as well have all seen a decrease in mileage due to the winter blends. Even the trucks without ECO's. One thing you can do is download the records from the computer and that can show you before and after install results as well. I am not trying to convince you either way though, if you are unsatissfied you can return it back to us. In the last 8 years we have had a couple of returns due to the customer not getting what he expected. We know we will not get 100%. We do not expect to. The majority of our customers are happy with their $360.00 to $600.00 in monthly savings, and if we can help you, we will be glad to and if you are not seeing a difference, we will give you your refund of what you paid for the unit. You will never loose money with ECO-Systems.

January and February from my past records have comparable mileage numbers that I would not want to compare either month to say July or August.
Janaury is month I tested the MicorBlue Tranny compared to December numbers that in the past January gets worse MPG numbers than December that I am up from December's avg of 8.74 mpg to my current 8.98 mpg for January so far.
I do not plan on making any changes this month except EcoTaz added around the 31st to test during February. After February, things are up hill for fuel mileage due to weather improving in my region and after March 31st they stop pumping winter blend up the Colonial Pipeline to my region.
Really need to compare February with EcoTaz to January without EcoTaz to get a true read on improvements. -
The pipeline from Houston that serves the I-10 corridor to Jacksonville, FL does change fuel blend a very minor amount from September 1st to March 31st. It is not no where near as much as the Colonial Pipeline that serves the east coast, but it is a change.
