    Second, third, and fourth on cut up old straps, carpet strips, to protect my straps. And fire hose for chains. Never hauled anything that required protection from the straps, but chain many times.
    I used to haul my utility tractor quite a bit using chains and ratchet binders. Never scrapped a bit of paint off it using the fire hose over my chains:biggrin_25525:.
