    Think of it this way. When the economy is goid and there is plenty of freight to go around they may be goid. Now that there is a slowdown who do think the company is going to prioritize? The employee that is driving a truck they pay for or the lease guy driving a truck they aren't paying for?

    Huh? Not a TQL one this time, but 30% of $1600 ($480) for a 1144 mile 41,000 reefer load?! That’s $0.41 per mile. That’s something Swift students earn during their first months!

    The DAT average is showing $1.60-2.00 per mile. TQL has $2200-2400 posted, but I can't tell which city it originates in. Yakima, if you were to deadhead there, has loads going to Los Angeles for around $2500 from several brokers. One is $2900 requiring TWIC. With all of that available on DAT, why would your company take the $1600 load? The loads paying that much are van loads that can fit in a reefer, not cheese.
