Have a 2013 MF 11 and I need to replace high and low temp cooler inserts. Plan to remove cooler assembly and have them pulled out with a special puller. Will I have to separate both halves or can I just slide the new cooler inserts back into the cooler assembly? Another special tool for alignment of the halves, of course. Any advise is appreciated.

The cooler cores can be done in chassis with most models and saves a lot of work. If you remove the complete cooler, you do not separate them, you just replace the cores. The cores slide out the ends. Yes, you need special pullers and pushers to replace them. They are sealed by orings in the middle section that you will replace before reassembly. You just reach down with your arm to replace the orings by feel. There are four orings per cooler, so make sure all four are properly seated so they don't pop out during new core installation.

Thanks Heavyd. If I can’t find a puller I’m going to let someone else do the job. Appreciate the input.
