Egt getting to hot.

it won't hurt to pull the intake off and clean it out too, replace your boost pressure/temperature sensor(s) or clean them with carb cleaner. get the c-a-c cleaned out and all your air handling plumbing. it'll save you from extra grief down the road. at the very least you should clean the air handling and egr sensors.

 

Do you find the scangauge useful? I have seen it several times and thought about it but no one I know has one for their truck. Off topic I know but if you can let me know what you think. Thanks

 

That's measured in the manifold for 1400° max.
#### better not be measured in the down pipe......big big big difference.

 

It's a shame to drop a new turbo in for and bearings. Crap that's about a 45min rebuild on the bench max...And under $500 on most turbos.
