Same here my dads buying a 2000 mack vision with a 98 engine and gonna put me to work. Elog or not it doesn't matter that much its out n back home every night m-f

 

The way I look at, the Bill of Rights is there to protect the law abiding citizens, not the criminals. I'm not breaking the law, I don't want my 4th amendment rights violated.

 

Come on now when we're 15-30 minutes from the house and on paper you think were spending the night in the truck or my own bed....


Running 2-3 hours over all the time is a no go. If you gotta run outlaw most of the time to make ends meet you need a new business plan

Tiss a shame in today's trucking that your called out for "breaking the law" or as a violator who doesn't run legal because you feel like running some or just want to lay down for a few hours where and when you feel like.
Things were better w the old HOS rules..imo
