Is your W9 a cable driven tach and speedo or electric? Or half and half

 

I could not work for a carrier forcing excempt truck owners to use led. That's bs.

 

Both were cable. Won't be when it goes back together.

Just kinda curious about cable to electric speedos

 

I was more familiar with IHC's in those years. The 9670's came electronic and the first ones were I worked showed up in 82. The 9370 I own now is an 89 with a cable drive speedo but it was ordered with a tachograph.

 

Mine's a 1980 but I'm upgrading all the gauges since the originals were faded or broken.

 

From what I hear, the same company that puts out this bluetooth are working on an ELD for old iron.

 

There is a system that works on older trucks. Just doesn't record the data the mandate requires. Friend of mine was pulling cans for CSX had one. Was hard wired to truck worked off of gps and an app on his galaxy note. Would record when truck moved x amount.
