what about you drove 11h15min instead of 11h because you were looking for parking or there was an accident on highway. can your company people edit it to 11hours driving?

I read that a few days ago.
So the options when you are between a rock and a hard place are:
    1. Log it as pc. Which is a false log. And it states compliance companies have argued going to a truck stop after an unload is not any different than "seeking place of rest or restaurant"
    2. Log it as driving and you get a violation.

So it will be up to the inspector which ticket you get. You are in deep either way. If they're really hard up for money just double the 2290. Enough with these ways to selectively pick from the herd and stick it to them.

I guess I could tell all my customers rather than get rest while I am backed into their door, they can darn well wait an extra 10 hours so I can take my break in a truck stop and then deliver their goods. I'm sure they will be eager to continue hiring me as well as pay me good money. A lot of this crap doesn't make any sense.

What happens when you come in to a scale to be inspected and you hit one of those big pot holes coming down the ramp and that thing erases all your hos information lol?
Next time your asked for your logs you should hand that to the inspector and see how long it takes him to figure out what it is......

I don't currently have an ELD, but ran on one for 4 years. The most miles I was able to legally log was 3500, and that's only because it was drop/hook back to back to back.

For those using Rand McNally units, I pose this question: why are you feeding the hand that willingly (and consistently) rams itself up your tailpipe?? I could care less if RM was the ONLY ELD unit out there, I wouldn't contribute a single penny to the success of a company that does its level best to hose drivers worse every year [SHORT MILES, a.k.a household goods movers mile].

Found out today they are getting E road, or something like that, claims to meet the mandate for ELD from the packaging. One team is doing the guinea pig routine.

I believe AT&T ELD is either Fleet Complete or Big Road.
