I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and say you were joking--however much in POOR TASTE it was--and I hope you one day have the opportunity to become elderly and have to struggle just to do everyday task's while YOU try and maintain YOUR dignity and sense of worth!ampm wayne, Injun, Digitalwarrior and 13 others Thank this.

According to AARP's version of safe driver training for 4 wheelers, the 70+ year olds are involved in more fatal crashes than even the teenagers. Their auto insurance rates are higher as well. NOW you can be scared.scottied67 Thanks this.

The elderly is to be respected.
I have known a few older drivers. It is hard for the elderly to realize they have lost the reaction time to be safe drivers.
I hope that when the time comes that I need to stop driving I recongnize the signs and do the responsible thing.Rollover the Original and CertifiedSweetie Thank this. -
We are the pros. Some tell me that means keeping a cool head and anticipating erratic maneuvers from various types of drivers:
Elderly: slower, sudden stops and turns, steering sometimes follows eye direction.
Teenagers: too fast, lane stray, inability to concentrate and like to show off.
Young 20's: everything they drive is a race ca, every road a track.
Young moms: busy looking in the mirror or over her shoulder at what the kids are doing rather than the road.
Middle-aged: second teens...with faster, more expensive cars and slower reaction time.
Late 20's and 30's: overconfidence.
Drunks: well....
You get the point? Nobody is perfect. We have to accommodate for that. Grandma's bingo is just as important to her as that kid's baseball game is to the father trying to get there before it's over. It's just as important to her as your load getting there on time is to you. Only we have extra training and lots more miles behind the wheel.Ducks, bellydumper, Strider and 5 others Thank this. -

injun that was a good post but #### they could ruin my career, even when i see them in my four wheeler weaving over the lanes and riding the brakes i haul *** and pass em. Im just speaking from experiences both in my personal and commercial vehicle.its aggravating but we all get older until we die.i love my grandparents.both of my grandpas are dead and both of my grandmas are alive but dont drive. One time my grandma off my fathers side didnt stop at a stop sign and a cop pulled her over, she told him "well nobody was coming" so he felt sorry and so he just reminded her to stop next time laughing with No ticket or warning.
Injun Thanks this.
