Elderly Drivers

I really don't understand why euthanasia has become such a taboo? It's OK for a medical professional to remove a feeding tube (nazi MD's preferred method of euthanasia/execution), but God forbid anyone fathom the administering of a drug ####tail to painlessly and peacefully allow one to pass. Euthanasia should only be an option when all other methods to save, cure, and hinder the progression of a terminal illness are exhausted. Euthanasia is palliative care...

People argue "Doctors have no right to play God"; when in fact, doctors do it everyday. Anytime a medication is administered, they are interfering with the natural process of life, thus playing God; yet this is OK?

 

this is something that a person should think about befor, getting very sick..this way they have made their choice an it is not left up to anyone. IE: doctors,loved ones, or next of kin...It puts a person in a hell of a possition. So some choices like dnr.(do not resesatate) should be in there will...just a thought???? for the furture. Like i told the wife...start a barn fire , make sure my dead ### is in the middle... when the smoke clears an everythings burned, grap that foldgers coffey can put some ashes in it an call it good! save the #### money!!!! besides aint nobody gona care after im gone except uncal sam...he'll be looking for his taxes....come an get them. it's gona be real warm where im gona be at

 

Exactly! I couldn't have said it better myself.

I think the decision should ONLY be your own. Nobody should ever make that choice for you, to much room for abuse (trust funds, property, wills, essentially greed).

But YOU should have that choice.
