running a bucket isn’t really an excuse for rolling around in a trash can, the last guy I worked for before I put my truck on the road once fired a guy for having dust on his seat belt retractor, and we were in landfills regularly
Electric front bumper to evade damage.

Since the original question was never answered I’ll say the purpose of a flip kit is so you can run the lower bumper you like and still get in to places that otherwise you couldn’t because of ground clearance. It’s to help preserve a 1700 dollar bumper. Yes good bumpers are high. My 20 inch true Texas square that is made heavy enough it takes 2 people to put it on is just over 1500.00 I could make something but it would take away from the look I want. I could buy one that looks like it but lighter and have it bend over high wind or the chrome peel in months. If I get off on a deserted exit and cross over to the on ramp to check my stock I flip my bumper. I’ve bent 2 dragging them in the holes on the shoulder. I’m protecting My investment so to speak. Now not everyone thinks I’m being wise with money so I’ll say when you start financing me without any reciprocal interest on my part another words free money I’ll consider your opinion. At this point I work for my money and I spend it as I see fit. I don’t put fake ### ho #### on my wife or my Peterbilt. It may be just a tool, but it’s the tool that put a roof over our head, food on the table, provides luxuries we don’t need as well as put my daughter threw school. A very expensive school in Nashville. She didn’t need to work spent her extra time studying and graduated with honors…..partly because this ol Pete provided. So maybe I am a bit uppity about my truck and think a homemade bumper won’t do. But I don’t look down on those that have a homemade bumper either I respect their opinion.
The world at large is quick to judge, want everyone to share their view etc. To see what I see you need to walk a mile in my boots. Lemme tell ya they are wore out not comfortable at all and it’s a long ### mileCdemars316, Sons Hero, MACK E-6 and 11 others Thank this. -
Thank you Wore Out. This is all I was asking for from my peers. I understand everyone is different in their own ways. I like diamond plate. Its on my chopper and in the cab on my truck. I worked with a guy that painted his whole interior bright yellow. It was blinding the first time he opened his door.
To each their own. But there is no need toall over others thoughts or dumb questions.
