I've had a Lincoln 12V electric grease gun http://www.lincolnindustrial.com/asp/products/greaseguns/12v.asp for several years and last year, gave that one to my wife and bought myself a Milwaukee electric gun http://www.milwaukeetool.com/tools/...m12-cordless-lithium-ion-grease-gun/2446-21XC . It's a little funky looking but beats the Lincoln hands down in every way. Were the Lincoln will do 1 1/2 to 2 tubes of grease per battery charge, the Milwaukee advertises 7 tubes and does pretty close to that. It also produces 8000 PSI pumping pressure, has a guided rack for screwing the cartridge case back to the gun (no alignment problems) and a nifty "holster" on the side to hold the hose/tip. For anyone interested in an electric grease gun I would highly recommend the Milwaukee. Just thought I'ld share.

The plastic handle breaking on our Lincolns seems to be a common theme. Thanks for the info. How much did you pay? I would guess the battery life would be because of the Lith Ion battery in the Milwaukee. Not much for options at the stores around here other than Lincoln

I don't recall the price but I think it was about the same as the Lincoln.

I'd prefere air greeze guns.
and if you are really lazy, the good idea is central lubrication system! -
Although they are great in a shop, they are not real pratical to carry in a truck and use when not in a shop hooked to the shops system. Electric is the way to go for something to carry in the truck and to use away from the shop.

Im a tight arse and still use a hand operated grease gun, lol one day i want to get a 12volt one though, thanks for the heads up

Central greazers fail becouse they require other type of grease and it is not so rare practice when someone smart put grease for hand grease guns to central lubrication reservour... and motor goes bad, so to make all work we had to change ALL GREASE lines.
as low cost, but good engought systems, I'd pay attention on this one http://www.lubtec.cz/centralni-mazaci-systemy-en -
We have an 18 volt lincoln. It has a high and low speed. When you put that thing in high it will move alot of grease real quick!

All you have to do is put a quick connect on your air tank (or a glad hand on your air line) and you have all the air you need. No batteries dying. No hand cramps. Gets the job done pretty quick.
Just don't waste your money on a "cheap" off-brand gun. My lincoln pneumatic has been serving me well. -
The problem I always had with hand operated grease guns is that you need 3 hands.
