    Electric has slowly been introduced over the years for various applications. Think back to the old S series International trucks with hydraulic brakes, they used an electric motor on the brake system to achieve temporary power brakes till the engine started, or if the engine died while driving to get it stopped. The future is here….

    You don't have to watch the entire video of this poor bloke busting his knuckles, on a rather easy installation, I might add, and at about 40:00, he demonstrates how easy the steering is when activated. You can hear the air releasing when he stops turning the wheel. I drove a R model Mack with one, and made a world of difference over plain manual, but as mentioned, the downside, was they took a lot of air, and more than once I had to wait.
