Probably money.
I don't know what fuel for reactors are priced in, but my 300 dollar tritium sights were ginormously expensive when priced in grams...Oldironfan Thanks this. -
While I agree with many of your posts I was just trying to make a point of where else will the electricity come from?
We should not burn anything to generate electricity, coal, wood, garbage, oil etc. ? Wind and hydroelectric is limited. Wave and other technology still seem far off.
These emission control trucks cost owners and manufactures thousands of dollars on each unit. These controls use other fossil fuels to manufacture parts, clean them out, make DEF, ship all that stuff, reduced miles per gallon. Sounds kind of like diminishing returns. Not to mention down time.
Would we not be better off to just make these new trucks as efficient as possible with the new technology? Hydrogen and natural gas probably have better possibilities.
Please excuse my rambling as I know we have elected a few to represent our best interest. We should not question them turning control of these matters over to other agencies and empowering them to enforce their own rules.
When they learn how to burn water
And the gasoline car is gone
We'll all be drinking that free bubble up
And eating that rainbow stew

Now here is a MAN'S truck. No more whining about stopping or having to pee or any of that other sissy stuff. We stop for fuel / load / unload, that's it.

...And God help whoever may be unlucky enough to have to ever work on the driveline.
Over the last 2 weeks, one of these electric turds would’ve been the last thing I needed.
