I just can't wait to see you piloting one of those sporty new jobs when the next big government administration gets the EPA to mandate them.

I only watched half of this. So solar and or wind power is cheapest in some areas. That's what I gathered at the half way mark.

Here are some old Macks, Petes, and KWs being turned into the plates used inside the batteries.

See how good for the environment these old trucks are? Melt them down and repurpose them. These plastic trucks will just get tossed into a landfill somewhere and never decompose. Very wasteful.

At least once electric vehicles take over all those ugly (and slow) Camaros will be crushed and melted too! :p

And especially solar, AND CONTINUES TO BECOME CHEAPER very quickly. In the real world, the economics dictate that net of any subsidies, electricity will continue to become CHEAPER than it is now, and solar (and wind, some) will be pushing fossil fuels and nuclear out of the electric generating market.

Likewise, batteries will continue to become CHEAPER and BETTER. The existing pace of innovation means that in 7 years there will be an electric semi with a 1,000 mile range and about 70% of the cost of the Tesla truck. And electricity will be cheaper.

The only question will be if it will need a driver.....

wow is that a real truck? Not sure about tree hugging however do you not see that the fumes from our engines are effecting the atmosphere? Anything that will reduce the pollution in the air has got to be good thing.

You cant apply new technology across the board, it might only work on some applications, this is going to happen again, old vs new, until everything is sorted out.
