How much money do you believe YOU should make (per copy you sell)??
Let me ask you a somewhat different question, How much money do you think Nick should make of HIS program, since he GAVE IT AWAY FREE for over 8 years? And I am talking about 8 years of add-ons and corrections and re-developement. I am talking about a program that can do far more than ANY other LogBook program; at ANY price. But I am sure that fact escaped you.
Electronic drivers logs anyone use them ?

I first of all didn't mean anything about him, except for the fact I sell the program for him (free advertisment and if I didn't say anything then some may not know about the program). I am not a truck driver and it doesn't matter to me if a driver use's it or not, except it does help the driver with the math etc. So yeah since I do what some would not do and stand up and say hey if you purchase this program then you can use it and I give them all the nice details about the program etc. I do not know what NIck or anyone else went through to get the program, and I will continue to tell all drivers about it, but I thought it would be nice if I at least got something for selling it (like a steak dinner or something) since I have helped him profit from the program. I come from a company that has 2500 drivers so I am sure the word of mouth has helped him grow and I will continue to help him grow! I am not that itchy to throw a fit, it was just a comment, so I am sorry you took offense to it! AS many places they have a section that ask who referred you, it would be nice if they did!
Sorry you took ofense, but facts are facts in my eyes and that is all I was saying! I did not want anyone on the board thinking that I am here selling items and getting profits that is why in the fist place I made the statement. -
*BUMP*
Has anyone heard of a logbook program that is supported by Mac?
I know all the options available to get my DDL to work on a Mac, is there a Mac specific logbook program out there? -
-
Anyhow. What's out there these days for PC-based logging that works well? Kick 'em out there. -
Newbie here - if the company you run for uses a Qualcom - would you still want to use a DDL? Would the QualCom be enough?

Lady K Thanks this.

So if you are using an e-log program does it warn you if you try to put in information that might not be within the law? For instance over hours, mileage mistakes etc?
