electronic logging...good or bad??

E logs are a great idea. Nothing better than handing a computer to a cop who doesn't have a clue how to use it. Paper or electronic doesn't matter. Logs are just records of duty status. Hours of service regulations are a much larger problem. Allowing additional driving time when needed would increase safety more than elogs.
Drivers have always been their own worst enemy by working for carriers, shippers and receivers who do not value a driver's time.
