Well it has been over two year since I switched. I have gone through 4 batteries and an even dozen atomizers. I recently switched to a cartomizer head, it delivers more vapor and uses less power. My total costs over two years amounted to ~$130 in batteries and atomizers and about $1100 in fluid. At current prices i saved nearly $1500 vs cigs.

I have saved a grip of money also and feel much better. Totally quit the cigs in January, and don't miss them one bit. I have been using the Blu brand of e-cigs. And I even find myself not using them that much when not driving. I can work at home all day outside and hardly ever take hit off of the e-cig. Still use it quite a bit while driving. Probably more psychological addition than a physical one. Either way, my breathing is better, I feel better, and like not having the smoke smell on my clothes, hair, and in the cab.

The Blu's are getting better. Still prefer the tank/cartomizer styles, but don't mind the Blu's one bit. They are just kind weak.

I tried the blu and the others and hated the taste of all of them. I smoke menthol and love the taste of menthol. The ones you describe are they better tasting then the others?

The Blu starter kits are in just about every truck stop nowadays up at the counter. Most Walgreen's carry them also. I have grown rather fond of the Cherry flavored cartridges. Tried the menthol and straight tobacco flavor and did not care for either. The menthol version is not bad, but I have got a preference for the Cherry over all the other flavors. Guess one has to try a few of the cartridges and see which they like best. At least the starter kit comes with a selection of flavors so you can try each out before buying more cartridges. You can also purchase Blu products online at http://www.blucigs.com and you can find retail outlets anywhere there also.

That study is interesting. They stick with the commonly held notion that nicotine is actually bad for folks, when most of the rest of the medical community has found the situtation reversed. While there may be other chemicals that show up in e-cig vapors that could be potentially harmful, nicotine is not one of them, and there is sure a thousand fewer dangerous chemicals in an e-cig than there is in burning leaves. That is where the study in the link above fell on its face. I would agree that the government will try to find a reason to tax these things much like they do cigarettes. Heck, can't remember which Dakota it was...North or South... that passed an anti smoking bill that you could not smoke even in a commercial truck.... including e-cigs.... because they claim that e-cigs are just as harmful as tobacco. What rubbish. Let a government hack in the door and things get all messed up. But here is some alternative reading to counter the nicotine is harmful crowd.
