Paperwork, phyisical and drug tests for the first day. Also videos and explanation of the Roehl way. Following days class time til lunch then road test and backing maneuvers. Don't worry they don't expect you to be awesome at shifting and driving. But u should progress each day that goes by. You'll get a workbook mostly focuses on trip planning. Pretty the same each day til the end of the week. Friday you'll know if you made if not then you'll go home. Instructors I had were very cool and laid back. Good sense of humor as well. Pretty much class time then after lunch pre trip, backing, and on the road with you, instructor and a classmate or two. Then after Friday you'll get a trainer assignment, pick u up and on the road for 9-10 days. Then test out get your own truck take a load home or go home for home time and go out with a fleet truck. Depending if u do a hometime fleet or national. Pretty easy more nerve racking than anything. You and classmates will get a company van to travel back and forth from hotel and terminal. Hotel is ok

 

Not by a doc but like lifting weights, pulling, and getting in and out of a trailer. Like 75 lbs and check your heart rate after each exercise. Job functions like pulling fifth wheel and tandem release, in and out of the trailer, and handling freight if you choose too on some loads. 7 months I've never touched the freight as far as unloading but some loads you'll have the option to use a pallet Jack and unload freight. You'll get paid if u want to do it, I've thought about it sometime but passed everytime so far. Your recruiter should've sent u a PDF file of the exercises thats what I meant by phyisical
