Elliott Truck Line/Custom Commodities

I debated a bit about posting this but I believe both companies deserve to be praised. I have struggled in the past with getting enough miles with previous employers. I have been told "this is a man's world, you're just a chick"...*gag*
But with Elliott I am given as many miles as I want, can stay on the road for months if I so choose, the equipment is well taken care of, but most importantly I am considered an equal part of the team. No discrimination. And to top it all, when I needed a sabbatical of a few months they understood, helped me out and kept the door open for a comeback. I am now "back on the saddle" at Elliott and very happy. The pay is pretty good as well.

I am sad to say I had to hang up my OTR hat... family health crisis made my being local a must. I already miss my job with Elliott/Custom Commodities. But it is what it is... no more big truck and open road for me. I started at Airgas late November and so far it's okay.
I will always miss the good people at Elliott Truck Line. Nice company to work for. This next January it will all be Custom Commodities, the Elliott name ceasing to exist. But Still a good job opportunity to all who want the tanker life style.
