    With all of that?

I'm gone. It's a waste of my time to be there, and it's shame because I'm #### good driver material. Not always all there....

That's about right. Idling will burn a certain amount of fuel. Mountain Terrain will turn it into 30 gallons gone in a hour if need be.

    All of this...

Do you not employ critical thinking?

I would never finish orientation at a place like this. I would be gone first day.

Orientation is not about hiring me, I am also evaluating the people, trucks, shop, facilites and company. If I smell BS, trouble, greed, profanity, complaining in drivers room etc. Im gone. I would find my own way home first day.

Speicifally, I don't give a *&^% what the Owners make. WHAT WILL destroy any working relationship for hiring me and me staying there is the BRAGGING by the Owner. I don't wanna hear it. The nickel and diming only reinforces the BS related to money. I'm gone. I might even get up and walk out in the middle of the prep rally bragging by the Owner.

Now that I took extra time to explain this to you do you now understand what "All of this" IS?!

Lol dude there's gonna be good bad reviews and good and bad apples no matter where you work. The OP could have genuinely had a horrible experience here, but it doesn't mean the rest of us are.

    Aamcotrans and x1Heavy Thank this.

The owner, "Big Tim", is actually pretty chill and down to earth. He's just a no bs type of guy. But what do I know? I only work here. Lol. I hope you find what you're looking for

    Who me?

Im out. Been out for a while OTR since 2001 and out of all trucks as a crew boss since becoming blind in 2009. CDL turned in around 2014 early winter to simplify issues with narcotic prescriptions in case I was lassoed while driving with DUI or something. It's way easier in a car license to take the legal court punishing than it is to holding a CDL. Besides I was also under Tier two plus grandfathering which is nice of Arkansas. But Tier two has me elgible to run reefer trucks to haul frozen dead bodies to a disposial site from a wrecked city somewhere in the USA after nuclear attack, earthquake or supervolcano, big dam flooding etc disaster etc.
