The actual wording of the law is rather interesting. Notice the 75 mile rule.

To be eligible for FMLA leave, an individual must meet the following criteria:
- Be employed by a covered employer and work at a worksite within 75 miles of which that employer employs at least 50 people;
- Have worked at least 12 months (which do not have to be consecutive) for the employer; and
- Have worked at least 1,250 hours during the 12 months immediately before the date FMLA leave begins.

Sni will say he left and screw his chances of getting hired back if his dbl name is brad from atl oc he has done a few drivers this way

when my dad was really sick I was a 6 months rookie with werner.I went to manager and told him I had to take off.He created a job for me that I would use a daycab and meet another driver 300 miles out and swap trailers and come back to the yard where I could be with dad during the day.Some companies will do whatever to keep good drivers.I will be praying for you and your family
