Emergency rations- do you use them?

    I learned how to cook some stuff in them, but it was hard to cook much stuff without the food burning onto the bottom while the rest is still cold. Can't keep stirring it if you are trying to drive either.

    I'd line mine with tin foil. Then pour the contents of the can or what ever I wanted to cook in that. Made for easy clean up after.

    Ever try to cook eggs in one of those things?

    I tried to cook ramen noodles in it,.. 3 mins in a microwave,.. or 45 mins in the made in China dutch oven,.. LOL

    That little beast is what drove me to set up my trucks like they are. 12v life sucks compared to a 110v.

    Foil works for warming up soup and such... If you want to actually cook stuff, like you say, eggs, it doesn't work so well.
