This coming year I am getting 4 new trucks, they all have the Cummins X15.
What parts of the emissions system need maintenance, and how often.
This is new territory for me.
Thanks

The main thing is do not put DEF into fuel tank, it should be fine otherwise if you follow manufacturer's instructions)

Normally you drive into pot hole and that stuff falls off.

We do have DPF on a dozer, but other than that no experience whatsoever on anything newer than a 2000 truck.BennysPennys and Pamela1990 Thank this. -
Biggest thing with the emission engines is to make them work. They like heat. DEF degrades over time. With your type of operation I'd buy it in barrels, rather than from the pumps. At least you know the quality is good if you test it when you unseal it.
