Ok, I'm going to try this again.
I am going to try and be as clear as possible. I am an experienced driver looking for a Good company to drive for. I am looking for a small to medium-sized outfit. If you are from one of the "Big Boys', please don't waste your time.
I offer 5+ years experience. No tickets, No accidents, No DUIs. I have ALL endorsement's, TWIC card, Passport, and MSHA. I have 4+ years in HAZMAT tankers, Singles, Doubles and Multi-axle Supertanker.
I also Have 6 months experience with a 3 car hauler. 1 year with combination flatbed/ dry van.
I LIVE in the Salt Lake City area (25 Miles to downtown SLC) But for the right situation, I MAY be persuaded to relocate at this point.
I am SPECIFICALLY seeking a Tanker position and/ or a Car Hauling position where I can be trained PROPERLY! I am looking to work for the BEST possible. YOU are looking for the best, I am looking for the best also. I am wanting to stay with these 2 segments being as that's what I like. This isn't complicated.
I am looking for MINIMUM $1500 a week. I could be persuaded to other segments ONLY if the situation is right.
Why am I not currently working, you ask? I was injured off work and was unable to work for a few months. I did find work with a local company, however, I did NOT do sufficient research and made a HUUUUUUUGGGGE mistake. I SHOULD have known when I first drove into the yard but I ignored the huge red flags! My first day out I was loading sulfuric acid with my "trainer" and after a couple of minutes, I noticed "smoke" coming from the bottom of the trailer. The trailer had sprung a leak on the bottom of the trailer and was shooting acid everywhere. Literally through the bottom of the tank that had just been inspected and certified 2 weeks earlier! And it went downhill from there! It was a nightmare. EVERYDAY Something was wrong. And their "mechanics" only work Mon-Fri 8-4:30 HUH? WHAT?
So anyhow I left after 2 weeks and am searching again.
I do not expect brand new equipment. Things happen, I understand. But I DO demand well maintained and serviceable equipment. What I DON'T understand is how either one of us is going to make money if the equipment is constantly broke down. I am NOT a mechanic, but I do and will take care of your equipment. And I expect the same from you! I understand equipment fails sometimes, But EVERYDAY?
Anyhow, If you are looking for a top-tier driver or you know of a company you could recommend. Please PM me. I don't want to give my info out due to the fact that all of the larger companies can't take NO for an answer. That's why I hate job boards. you are flooded with all of the usual suspects!
Remember, I am in the Salt Lake City area, But, IF the situation is right........
Thank you so much for your time!!!

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
