    You're not racist. It's obvious to anybody who pays attention exactly how things are going. I have nothing against any race but I can't ignore what I see, either.

    Yup, it's on the right coast too........


    Another problem is a lot of the smaller pits/ quarries have been bought out by the muiti- nationals. And with less competition(and not a ton of work) the rates suffer.......

    The dump truck business in California used to be a license to print money. But it seems several factors have come into play. First, the construction business is the worst in the nation. No one is building. No space. No money and sky high workers comp has grounded the construction industry to a halt. Second, too many trucks. Everyone came to California and into the dump business because the equipment got cheap and everyone wanted local truck driving job. Third, people willing to work cheap. With unemployment still high. People are happy just being employed. I dont care what Obama says unemployment is still high. Yes there are more minimum wage jobs but the middle class is slowly disappearing from California
