Hello everyone. I have a rookie mechanic question. Is there a different type of air chamber to operate the tailgate on an end dump?

This is my own project, I started to rebuild an old end dump trailer I bought, so I went through all of it pretty much, from front to back replacing electrical lines, air lines, brake chambers, inboard to outboard hubs, air valves, etc. So, I come to the point where I'm replacing this type 24L air chamber that closes the hooks for my tailgate. It has two chambers, one for each hook, and when I finished replacing the driver side I realized that the hook stays in the open position while the passenger side is closed. So, I don't know if I missed something or should've done something different or maybe I should've bought a specific type of chamber for this latching system?
    Thanks for reading.

Call the dealer with the vin, or see if there’s a part number on the one you pulled off

Were they both closed before you started?
    Check your work.
Make sure that you don’t have air going to the one chamber.
