I hate to nitpick ... but that is a standard hood not a short hood And those cheesy mufflers don't do that truck any justice either .. he should of atleast put the the guards back on to cover up those ugly things
One thing I never really understood about Peterbilts is why they all look pretty much the same? Aside from colour they all seem to get the exact same chrome, lights and stacks.
I keep mine clean but as said by others it's just a tool for making money and I have no emotional attachment to it , when its no longer cost effective it will be gone .

That w990 is ugly. They could have shaved the air cleaners off of the W900 and put the stacks behind the sleeper. That probably would have given it better MPG than the 990.
I’ve driven far to many of those square wheel C500’s. It’s like driving a block of wood down the road. No thanks.
Me... I like the guards on even if your running straight pipes.. it make the truck ture to its four They help transition from the cab to the buck flow.. That's just my opinion..and I also like to keep things looking and as close to OEM as possible .. again that just You got a good 359 to make it how you like ..I like most any 359...... that's I think...lol
A lawsuit should make quick work of that if anyone tried. SCOTUS just put a limit to their willy nilly power to regulate whateverthe#### they want to.
