I see you are still a student, keep this in mind JUST BECAUSE IT SHOULD, DOES NOT MEAN IT DOES.

You will learn that statement to be more and more true the longer you drive.

I guess that answers my question? If you don't know the answer it's ok.

This is the part I was referring to........

As for the rest of your question.....
It happens all the time and if its not a placarded amount no laws are broken. For example Wal Mart sends haz with nearly every load out of their DCs, but its usually not a placarded amount so that all drivers even the ones they contract out can haul it.

Good question. I asked that question to an officer while I was at the DMV getting my license renewed. I asked another question, also. "The process is long and they check me up and down to ensure my ability to haul haz. materials. But after all the checking and checking and more checking, if I do get the endorsement whose to say a terrorist won't park beside me with a bomb in his vehicle? Or place some device on the tanker if I'm hauling gas?" Even he said that it was basically a way to get more money and give people a false sense of security. He said, and I agree. "Terrorists don't plan an attack on the spur of the moment. Look at 9/11. It takes time, planning, money, and serious commitment. If he wants to use that gas tanker, or whatever, for something evil, believe me, he's gonna get it. Whether he does his homework and actually earns the endorsement himself or takes the truck from you, it was well thought out ahead of time."

Which makes me wonder if there's a point to me getting it. A couple companies have said that if I get it they will reimburse me, but I don't know if I want it.
