I have an interview/road test with these folks in two weeks, in the Permian Basin area. Wondering about them since most of what I've read concerning them was posted before the last bust. How do they stack up?
Thanks.

Not a bad job. Midland is expensive. I averaged anywhere from 1800 to 2200.00 take home for 2 weeks. You really have to hustle to make 2200 for 2 week period. Lots of 3rd party and you have to wait to unload

Looking at Pecos.

You better drive out there first. Pecos is pretty ugly..

Going out week after next for an interview in Carlsbad.

I'll send you a pm, if I can figure that out.

anyways from what I heard, that area was somewhat still busy when the bust was there. -
From what I've seen, most of west Texas looks pretty bleak. Hey, on your days off you can go to the hill country?

Fort Stockton is about 30 miles south of Pecos, I would live there and commute before living in Pecos.

While not having been to Pecos, it seems there may be more options(housing) in Fort Stockton. I'll have to check it out.
